LBI 2018: Height of Summer
LBI 2018 was one for the books! The week was dominated by oppressive July humidity, but it truly was a delightful vacation anyway. In a way, the weather outside forced us to take it slow and really relax.

Home Decor Wish List
As you may know, we're searching for our 1st home together and right now I have all things "home decor" on the brain! I am really lusting after some of these items, but I wanted to share a couple that I actually already have and love. The thing is, when you're starting out, you want to pick classic items that have a nice balance of timelessness and modernity.

Summer in Toronto
Since my first visit in Toronto, there was still much to be seen and I am so glad that on our most recent trip, we were able to walk and explore around this beautiful Canadian city! We quickly understood how much of a FOOD CITY Toronto is!

Spring 2018 Bridal Shower Details
Popping in with a super short post, but sharing some cute pieces I made for my sister-in-law! One of the hardest thing about bridal and baby shower projects...you have to keep them a secret until the day arrives! I've been excited to share these pretty pieces from my sister-in-law's sweet "mint to be" themed bridal shower.

Currently (Includes a Flat Tire!)
So, I just got home from another long day. I proceeded to go to the craft store right after work to pick up some paper, and POP, I flattened my tire on a curb. Pulling into a parking lot and getting out of my car, I figured the "shhhhhhhh" sound I heard was either a sprinkler system going off, or a great big gash coming from the front passenger tire. Turns out it was the latter.

Lemon & Honey Shrimp Arugula Salad
Sometimes, you have to build recipes around one ingredient. Today, that ingredient was arugula. With a fresh bag filled with arugula sitting in my fridge, I pondered how to use it with other things I already had. What I originally wanted to use it for was totally impractical - fancy crostini with goat cheese and prosciutto, or something - so I looked into arugula salads. Are they even a thing? Turn out they are. And they're perfect if you're in the mood for something light, nutritious, and peppery.
