Capsule 01. Sweater Weather

The challenge here is to lengthen my attention span with clothes…workwear and everyday. The allure of fast fashion and new trends is intoxicating, but I am actively trying to pull myself away from that! You’ll be seeing me in comfy, affordable, yet quality pieces. I’ll pretty much just admit here that if it’s not comfortable or simple, I won’t be wearing it.

Ecru at the Pumpkin Patch

October was a bit of a whirlwind of daycare-caught sickness and many under-the-weather days for S and myself. However, I was determined to eventually get to the pumpkin patch with our little peanut! On a gloomy day, we made a quick pit stop at a local nursery to snap a few pictures of the baby with some big old pumpkins!

Fall Frolicking

This fall has looked pretty different for us, in a few big ways. First of all, we are taking it easy and nesting it up at home because we have our little one’s arrival approaching this winter! It has been all about keeping the house clean, prepping for baby, and planning out the nursery.

Leather Jacket Lunch Date

I broke out Massimo's jacket for our first al fresco dining of 2018! Well, if you're not counting all of those beachside dinners in Hawaii, that is...The pelletteria in which this coat once lived is in the magical city of Florence. The leather shop, named after its owner, Massimo, was an equally magical place. I recounted the serendipitous story in this post, and oh how it brings a smile to my face!
