Spring 2018 Bridal Shower Details
Popping in with a super short post, but sharing some cute pieces I made for my sister-in-law! One of the hardest thing about bridal and baby shower projects...you have to keep them a secret until the day arrives! I've been excited to share these pretty pieces from my sister-in-law's sweet "mint to be" themed bridal shower.

The Giving Mirror
The story behind this mirror is heartwarming and incredible. It epitomizes the good will and generosity in people - in this case, total strangers. Whenever I look at this mirror, I think of the life it had before it welcomed the guests at our wedding. I loved using it as such a harbinger of happiness and excitement, and the way I found it makes it even more of a gift. So, I call it, the giving mirror. In honor of our 6-month anniversary (today!) I wanted to share this beautiful story with you.

#PaperDogCardExchange Calligraphy
It was a fun way to get some pretty snail mail and see beautiful calligraphy from all sorts of talented letters. For my cards, I used pink and red inspiration and vellum. For my envelopes, rich gold and white text with loopy, whimsical calligraphy.

Elegant Custom Grey Suite | Inner and Outer Envelopes
This project was so fun and unique because the bride opted for inner and outer envelopes. I'll be honest, I don't see that a lot as a calligrapher - but having both inner and outer envelopes addressed for your guests is such a classic touch.

Puppy Love | Watercolor Signs for Weddings
I'm showing some of my favorite pieces from one-of-a-kind weddings that include an unexpected element: puppy portraits! I seriously love when brides add a personal touch to their wedding details, and these signature drink puppy signs are so endearing.

Why We Chose To DIY Our Wedding Favors
For our wedding favors, we certainly knew what we did not want to give our guests: something they would never use, or throw away, or lose. We decided to bottle our own olive oil for various reasons. It represents meaning and of course, function. Here's how I came to the decision, how we bottled it, and the function is served for our wedding!
