Girls' Lunch at Beach Plum Farm

These pictures remind me of a special weekend I will hold close to my heart for a long time! We joined friends of ours for a weekend down the shore earlier last month. Our children are similar in age and it was so generous of them to invite us into their family home!

We spent lots of fun hours talking, getting sandy at the beach, and of course keeping the kids entertained which kept us all busy! My sweet friend (love you J!) suggested that we go out for a mama’s only adventure one afternoon and my immediate reaction was ohhhhhh yes. She knows all the good places, and Beach Plum was no exception! She drove us to this hidden gem in Cape May, where we had a little garden nosh and coffee date. It was such a beautiful farm complete with a manicured garden, blooming hydrangeas, picnic seating, and a farm shop curated with all of their summer offerings: fresh foods and baked goods, produce, gifts, floral bouquets, kitchenwares, and more. It brought calm and peace to our day, and my only wish is that it was a little closer so we could explore it again! I left with so much coastal gardening inspiration. How do I get my hydrangeas to bloom like that?!

Our farm stop was bookended with a little antique perusing before heading to dinner on the waterfront. It was a perfect weekend away!

Ciao, xo
