A seasonal lifestyle blog
A love letter to style, heirloom recipes, creative pursuits, motherhood, and life’s little joys through my camera lens.
Ocracoke Getaway
The Outer Banks is refreshingly the same as I remembered! Very little has changed since my last adventures there. It’s fitting to let nature do all of the changing - the shifting of inlets, barrier island, sandbars - because the naturalness of this place is my favorite thing about it.

J’s wedding truly looked like the most relaxed, intimate, glamorous and sweet occasion, so I am hoping for them it was worth the wait. I am such a fan of smaller weddings. The intimacy and romance is something you just can’t match.
A Reason to Smile
The peonies are in! This will be our third summer in the house (if I am counting correctly) and it is so luxuriously rewarding to have a harvest of pink peonies from the backyard.
Rouen-Inspired Brunch

Early Spring Inspired
Glad to be checking in on the other side of winter (or so it feels)! It has been a few months of ice and snow, and while it has been cozy and refreshing, it hasn’t been without its difficulties. I am reveling in the stronger rays of light, afternoon walks, bluebird days with warmer temperatures, and the bursts of crocuses I have seen out the window on my morning commute (image via).
