We woke up on Sunday, Feb 7 (also Super Bowl Sunday) to a beautiful scene out of our window. A fresh coating of snow, falling softly yet robustly. As I type this, the snow is gently falling at our doorstep in thick, lush heaps! It is truly so magical and such an enchanting way to ring in the first of February. A White Christmas{time}

It may not be Christmas, nor Christmas Eve, but it certainly is Christmastime. Perhaps the best part of Christmas, too. The buildup to the holiday, the anticipation of the joys to come. The festive feeling swells up in me as I hear dialogues of familiar movies, Christmas carols, and chiming bells. It gets stronger with scents of fresh pine, peppermint, baking cookies, and the sharp chill in the air.
