A seasonal lifestyle blog
A love letter to style, heirloom recipes, creative pursuits, motherhood, and life’s little joys through my camera lens.

October Stop at the Pumpkin Patch
October is truly so glorious, and this unexpected pit stop at the Pumpkin Patch last weekend was an equally unexpected source of inspiration! This bountiful harvest is not only so photogenic, but it represents the fruit of the countless hours of summer sun, the ripeness of the season, and the chill in the air signals all the coziness to come!

Autumn Weekend on Ocean Avenue
The colors, scents, and aura of the beach front truly do bring me an unspeakable sense of ease. Another long-awaited autumn weekend by the sea has come and gone, and although this year feels a little different, I feel so grateful to have been able to enjoy the undeniable relaxation that this stretch of beach brings.

When I Started Being Kind To My Skin
Without a doubt, the onset of Covid-19 marked the arrival of a new era surrounding how I felt about sharing my face without makeup. In this era, like so many others, came a new literal self-reflection. I had to look at myself in video chats. I had to contend with having every little imperfection broadcasted in virtual meetings, classes, zoom calls, and more. As someone who is pretty private, I worried about how people would judge me and focus on my acne, red spots, or naked, makeup-less face.

Photographer's Retreat in Cape May
My friend C and I have a penchant for summertime adventures, including but not limited to spontaneous travels, colorful photography, bubbly aperitivi, and front seats to a beautiful view. We planned a photographer’s weekend, simply to take photos and create memories and get a bit of relaxation in this last weekend of summer. It was truly an escape! The weather was crisp, the crowds lulled, and the rays of mid day sunshine ever so slightly softer.

Hexagon Marble Tiles
It has been a slow summer for calligraphy, so I was thrilled with my most recent commission. Marble tile place cards have a special spot in my heart. There is SO much prep work that goes into them, and some textures are just a struggle.

Cut-Flower Garden Adventures {Dahlias}
Sigh! My adventures with dahlias are not going as well as they did with my hydrangeas and peonies. I’ll skip most of the drama, but I think I inflicted some damage upon my beautiful cafe au laits and lifestyle anenomes because I was…you guessed it, obsessing over them.
