October is truly so glorious, and this unexpected pit stop at the Pumpkin Patch last weekend was an equally unexpected source of inspiration! This bountiful harvest is not only so photogenic, but it represents the fruit of the countless hours of summer sun, the ripeness of the season, and the chill in the air signals all the coziness to come!

My mom and I went on a mini road trip this past weekend to look at some land for a potential future cabin build. I admit, it was not that fun of a trip mainly because I was a grouch and was feeling awful after getting a flu-shot, and celebrating the night before at a Covid “micro-wedding” of one of our best friends. So, yeah, I was feeling terrible! The views on the ride, however, helped to perk me up and feel a bit better. Combined with the best company, plus Scout our pup (!), we took in views of the trees on the cusp of turning. Hillsides of this crisp foliage seriously fills the soul!

I’ve been stocking up on gourds, pumpkins, and my mom’s fave (turk’s turban) to pile outside of my front door. I think I have a little more to go, plus a mum or two!

ciao, xo
