For our wedding favors, we certainly knew what we did not want to give our guests: something they would never use, or throw away, or lose. We decided to bottle our own olive oil for various reasons. It represents meaning and of course, function. Here's how I came to the decision, how we bottled it, and the function is served for our wedding!

After the wedding, we had a delayed honeymoon. Taking a little over a month to regroup, get our heads on straight, and process the entire wedding was honestly the healthiest thing I think we could have done! It also gave us time to really build excitement for our honeymoon: HAWAII!

As a calligrapher, I really focused on the invitation suite for my wedding. Surprisingly, I did not splurge for the invitation suite of my dreams - that's another story for another time. I understand how expensive it can be! However, I did make sure I fell in love with the colors, the calligraphy style, and the paper types used for all the different pieces of the suite. I went for neutrals that complemented each other in an autumnal feel, like peaches + earthy grey + copper + blush and wine colors.
