Coffee Diaries | My Morning Nespresso Routine

Tortoise spoons from Happy Bones

On a weekend, or any day really, my morning coffee legitimately gets me excited! I know I am not alone there. During my maternity leave I really got to perfect my favorite coffee recipe. Nothing beats a cuppa coffee or tea out of a warm mug while sitting on the couch! I certainly didn’t miss sipping lukewarm travel mug coffee, ugh. But even so, I think this recipe would taste good regardless of the vessel it’s in!

Morning Nespresso Routine

Ingredients

  • Coffee Pod (I prefer the Decaf Melozio)

  • Half and Half (or 2% Milk)

  • Agave Nectar, or Raw Sugar as a Substitute

  • Cinnamon

Using the Aeroccino Milk Frother, I begin prepping my creamer while the coffee pod brews. After the creamer is finished, the milk frother lets you know by turning off automatically. I give it a good tap against the counter to let the milk settle apart from the froth. The Nespresso coffeemaker in general produces a very foamy cup of coffee, so if you aren’t a fan of foam I think the tap is helpful!

After the coffee and creamer are joined, I add about a tablespoon of agave syrup. It’s so sweet so be sure to add this ingredient to taste! Lastly, add a dash of cinnamon for garnish (and taste, too!)

I hope you enjoy your cinnamon and agave creation!

Ciao, xo!
