Instant Spring Pick-Me-Up
I was recently at an antique store in upstate NY and my eyes fell upon a beautiful ironstone pitcher filled with faux white tulips. It had the most showstopping effect. I proceeded to the counter to ask for a price, and it turned out they were not for sale! It was such a beautiful display that I knew could be recreated on a budget. But I was very very picky about my tulip search…we all know how bad cheap faux florals can look and feel. These faux tulips are silken to the touch, and are so well made! They are from Etsy and they are the perfect instant pick-me-up.
I wanted to get the ironstone pitcher, too, but I found this distressed and earthy urn instead from Hobby Lobby. At 50% off, it came to under $20!
A spring refresh is exactly what I have been needing! I am feeling the urge to wear sandals, dresses, and hang out outside. I am a little tired of the dark mornings and getting dressed in the dark. We haven’t had even an INCH of snow yet, and I worry that we will be walloped soon by a March blizzard. Hopefully we go unscathed and we can head right into REAL tulip season! 🌷✨

We spend so much time in our kitchen, and this vase would be so pretty in our grey kitchen. I would style it in the middle of our island. It’s tall enough to make an impact, yet compact enough so it’s not overkill.
