My Favorite Spring Wedding Calligraphy Trends

Hello there! I'm checking in with a little #weddingseason update! I have been happily busy over the last few weeks finalizing some lovely wedding pieces for even lovelier brides. I'm telling you, they have the most amazing ideas and it keeps me so engaged and inspired throughout the process. My favorite medium right now: mirrors and glass! I am loving the mirror trend the most. It is so sophisticated and a crisp departure from the chalkboard or slate pieces I'm used to!

I am working on a few mirrors right now, and didn't want to give it all away - but here are a few sneak peeks! And how beautiful are the roses? I styled them in here as a little homage to my best gal pal EVER, who just recently tied the knot this past weekend down in Cape May, NJ! It was a magical day!

Another trend I'm loving is high-contrast ink and paper options, especially with opulent gold like these shades from finetec, a German company who makes these rich watercolors with high mica shine pigments. Finetec is the gold standard (ha, get it??!?) for all metallics, in my opinion. So I can't say it is really a trend, because it never goes out of style!

I can't wait for all of the current A. Taylor Studio brides to get their pieces! In the meantime, happy creating :)
