Our Wedding Florals

This is one of those posts I wrote, forgot about, and just found it rotting in the ‘drafts’ section of my blog! Ahh! I am so excited to finally share it, only a year later (woops). Just in time for our anniversary, I suppose!
The wonderful Maryanne from Carousel Flowers tended to my every need in the florals department. She E X C E E D E D every single one of my wildest bouquet dreams. I didn’t want it too green, so she toned it down with dusty miller. I wanted to incorporate my dress, so she used some scraps from hemming to tie my bouquet around the middle. I wanted roses, roses, and roses! And she delivered on every level. Perhaps my most daring request was to have roses in my hair (she knew it would be a challenge!). But they looked wonderful and added such a romance to my hair that I’ll never forget. I truly felt like a princess.
My color scheme revolved around the color I called “dusty rose” but sometimes was referred to as mauve, or quartz. I loved the scheme and thought Maryanne absolutely nailed it.
